Description | This work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the following Johnson Road Sidewalk Improvements: The proposed work consists of the construction of PCC Driveway, PCC Sidewalk, and concrete gutter and grading in an existing residential area. Bidders may bid any Contracts, individually or in combination, for the proposed work. Bidders do not have to bid all contracts to be considered. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present a performance and payment bond in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the City of Granite City. All applicable laws, ordinances, and rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract. The City of Granite City reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids; to reject any or all bids; and to determine which bid is the lowest and best for the improvements. |
