Palatlakaha River Villa City Water Control Structures Replacement

The Project is generally described as the demolition and replacement of the water control structure located at the Authority’s Villa City site. Work elements will include demolition of the existing structure and gate mechanism, construction of a new concrete water control structure utilizing pre-cast concrete box culvert sections and cast in place concrete extensions, installation of new gate system with remotely controlled capabilities, installation of sheet piles and composite pile caps, riprap, concrete ditch pavement scour protection, final grading and sodding to restore site to pre-work conditions: By-pass pumping may be required. Ground water dewatering system will be required. Construction of cofferdams will be required (site dewatering is included as a bid item).
