Description

Scope of Work: Broward County Transportation Department (BCT) is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide the relevant, comprehensive professional architectural and engineering services on a continuing term basis for remodeling, renovations, new construction, and other miscellaneous professional services at various countywide locations. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. CCNA Solicitation: Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act ("CCNA"), price will not be considered in the final evaluation and ranking of firms. Agreement is anticipated to be negotiated based on a maximum not-to-exceed, based on the County's best interest. Domestic Partnership Act Certification: The Domestic Partnership Act Certification Form is not a requirement of the solicitation, but will only be utilized for Tiebreaker purposes. Q & A deadline: Aug 11, 2022 5:00:00 PM EDT License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsible vendor for the Scope of Work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess the specified licenses at the time of submittal (Refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Conflict of Interest: Recommendations provided by the successful Vendor could result in subsequent procurements by the County for future implementation. To avoid any actual or appearance of conflict, the successful Vendor (and any subconsultants used by Vendor) will not be eligible to compete for such future services for the County (either as prime or subconsultant) resulting directly from the work performed by the Vendor's team related to the scope of services for this solicitation. This prohibition will not apply to services or any other work unrelated to the scope of services of this solicitation. The County reserves the right to review for any other potential conflicts on a case by case basis. Conflicts cannot be identified without a specific identified deliverable that will result in a subsequent scope of work. Additionally, a fact specific scenario would need to be evaluated at the time of preparing a prospective solicitation in order to determine if a conflict exists. Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. Architectural and Engineering Professional Services for Transportation Department's Transit Infrastructure Project. Pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 287.055, CCNA Act, Price will not be considered in the final evaluation and rating of the qualified firm. Work Authorizations will be anticipated to be negotiated based on a maximum not-to exceed, based on the County's best interest. Contract duration: 3 years Contract renewal: 2 annual renewals The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
