Turnkey Wireless Access System Installations

As of Sept 12th the project has not yet been awarded. Award is expected in November 2022. The District intends by way of this RFP to enter into a contract to install a new wireless access system into several District locations. A full turn-key indoor wireless system providing wireless coverage and service at Owners General Offices. Turn-Key Wireless System shall include Centralized Control Management System with alert notification system, ability to manage remote sites, Wifi-6, ability to configure separate internal and external network access. An outdoor wireless system to connect the main facilities to the existing, local, wired internal networks at clubhouses, for employee use only, at each of the following locations. Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois 60048 Proposals must have pricing listed by site. Owner intends to select a single Vendor to perform all the Work, but reserves the right to reduce the Scope of Work, including reducing the Work so that it includes less than all of the Locations. Owner does not intend to select more than one Vendor, regardless of the final scope of the Work or the number of Locations at which Work will be performed. Hawley, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 Any question and/or requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing to the Department of Purchasing no Later than 06/30/2022 11:00 AM, CST Questions and requests for clarifications regarding the requirements of this RFP must be emailed to purchasingdept@LCFPD.org Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a security deposit of at least 10% of the Complete Price Proposal in the form of (1) a cashiers check or certified check drawn on a solvent bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and payable without condition to Owner; or (2) a Bid Bond in the form included in the RFP, or a form otherwise approved by Owner, from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois with a general rating of A and a financial size category of Class III or better in Bests Insurance Guide. If the required bid security/bond is not submitted with your bid proposal, your bid proposal will be rejected.
