Description

-Required Maintenance: Remove, disassemble main hoist on Grove Rough Terrain Crane (Model RT600E) Serial no. 230141 and inspect all major components for damage and wear (i.e. gears, spline couplings, shafts, etc.). Replace components found to be worn, or have evidence of heat or other damaged with new original equipment manufacturers parts. During reassembly replace with new parts all seals, bearings, fasteners, washers, brake disc, brakes stators, sprag clutch, and springs. Once hoist has been reinstalled and free of all defects the crane will have a line pull and load test per manufactures specification and load test certified in accordance with OSHA requirements, all weight test certification paperwork will be provided upon delivery. The Contractor shall provide transport to and from Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station, all labor, tools, parts, and materials associated with repairs. All tasks performed shall be accomplished in a workmanship like manner and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor shall comply with all environmental code and regulations while performing the services of this contract. 1. Transport Crane to repair facility as required. 2. Remove and disassemble main hoist, inspect all major components for damage. Reassembly hoist with new seals, bearings, fasteners, washers, brake disc, brakes stators, sprag clutch, and springs 3. After repairs are completed, the crane will be have a line pull and load tested certified in accordance with OSHA requirements, all load test certification paperwork will be provided. 4. Once certification has been completed the crane will be transported back to Joint Base Charleston.
