Replacement and/or Repair of Concrete Sidewalks, Curbs/Ramps and Drive Approaches

Removal of sidewalk, various curb, drive approach and appurtenances at locations specified by the City Project Inspector. The forming, pouring and finishing of sidewalk, various curbs drive approach & ramps at locations that had been removed. Restoration of lawn areas, trees, fences, streets or any appurtenance located in adjacent areas damaged by performance of the above work. Excavation, installation and backfilling of water valve boxes located in removed sidewalk as directed by the City Project Inspector. Patching of existing concrete driveways with new concrete to meet replaced concrete. Asphalt appurtenances abutting against sidewalk shall be patched with ODOT Specification 448 Hot Mix Asphalt to make a smooth transition between asphalt and concrete. Replacement and installation of house drains. This will include securely hooking the new drain up to existing drains with a watertight connection. Construction of New Sidewalk, Per ODOT Specification 608 Walks, Curb Ramps and Steps. Prepare base, Per ODOT Specification 203 Roadway Excavation and Embankment for drive approach, new sidewalks, and various curbs.
