Description | The City of Gastonia, North Carolina (the City) is soliciting and accepting Statements of Qualification from interested and qualified firms for providing project management and design build construction services for the Phase I Renovations of the Public Works Campus, which includes renovations of the Solid Waste Building, Car Wash/Storage Facility, and the Main Fuel Dispensing Island (hereafter referred to as the PROJECT). The City of Gastonia population growth has and is continuing to require the Public Works Campus and all of its Divisions to subsequently grow to meet the demands. This growth has impacted both the facility storage and personnel space. The project will be located on the existing Public Works Campus at 700 North Broad Street, Gastonia, NC. It is the intent of the City's goal to have the project completed by May 1, 2024. The total budget for all design-build services for the aforementioned construction project is approximately $4,000,000. Costs will include construction related expenses, architectural programming, design, preconstruction and construction related services, testing services, public jurisdiction fees and charges, and all professional service fees, costs and expenses necessary to fully design, build and deliver a fully complete and operational project to the City. The City reserves the right to cancel this RFQ for any reason without any liability or to waive any irregularities at their discretion. Please note that the overall Statement of Qualifications / Proposal should be limited to a maximum of 20 pages including the cover and back pages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses to the RFQ, or to accept any RFQ response deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities. |
