Description

As per the Architect this project deadline is extended to JUNE 24, 2022, AT 1:30PM LPT due to the recent storms and power outages. There is no addendum issued at this time. Once power/data systems are restored Addendum will be issued. In general, the Work of this bid package includes but is not limited to demolition of an existing structure and other site amenities, site excavation including removal of existing site amenities, site maintenance during construction, preparation and finishing for the new site design and construction of a new three story (1st, 2nd and 3rd floors) municipal building that will include city offices, police department facilities and fire department facilities; plus other general construction work indicated in the Bidding Documents. After opening, the bids will be compared as to quality, thoroughness, and cost by the City of Moundsville, and its Architect (McKinley Architecture and Engineering). A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and issued by a surety company approved by and in favor of the Owner, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a Contract, if given the award. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the Owner. To the extent permitted by state law, the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to make selections from the bids that are solely in its own best interest.
