Description

Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Ivanhoe 2022 Road Bond Project will be received by the City of Ivanhoe. The project provides for roadway improvements on Camelot Drive and 28 th St. The scope of work includes Camelot Dr.-From Ivanhoe Dr. to Durwood Dr. (excluding the Concrete Dam area) Measurement 3900 ft x 20 ft. to clean sweep, 0.5 inch level-up and 1.5 inch overlay with quickset oil-sand Base Asphalt. Overlay existing asphalt and tie-in to side streets to point of tangency, remove grass median section and convert to consistent roadway with remaining roadway. 28 th St.-Entire road, measurement 5200 ft x 16 ft. Clean sweep, repair areas where asphalt is insufficient for overlay, 0.5 inch level-up and 1.5 inch overlay with quickset oil-sand Base Asphalt. Overlay existing asphalt and tie in to side streets to point of tangency. Owner assumes no responsibility for errors or misinterpretations of Scope of Work. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Ivanhoe; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. City of Ivanhoe reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Ivanhoe for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder s qualifications prior to the contract award. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds in the amount covering the bid. The successful bidder must also provide written verification that the company does not boycott energy companies and complies with Senate Bill 13 (Chapter 2274 TX Government Code)
