Stevensville Water District Improvments

Base Bid Work for Contract TL2-G-17 General consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 500,000 gallon prestressed concrete water storage tank, site work and appurtenances, approximately of 340 lineal feet of 12” ductile iron pipe along SCH Rt 15 and NYS Rt 55 (SCH Rt 142), three fire hydrants, eight 12”, three 10”, two 8” and four 6” valves, approximately 174 lineal feet of 8” ductile iron pipe along SCH Rt 142, directionally drilling of approximately 1,000 lineal feet of 14” HDPE DR-9 water along SCH Rt 142 (500 lf) and under Swan Lake (500 lf) with a manhole for testing of the water main under the lake, 5 water services (one of which will be bored and cased under SCH RT 142, 4 will be open cut), and one open cut mainline crossing of NYS Rt 55 (SCH Rt 15), water main replacement in the Stevensville well field 50’ of 6”, 120’ of 8” and 140’ of 10” ductile iron pipe valves and one fire hydrant, supply and install a new 60 hp vertical turbine pump, base and motor replacing the existing 40 hp vertical turbine pump all work affecting the roadway will require a Sullivan County Highway work permit. Alternate Bid Items for work beyond the base bid scope along NY State Rt. 55 (SCH RT 15) include a per foot price for 12” and 6” DIP Water Main Installation, per each price for 12” and 6” valves installed, per lineal foot price for open cut and bored and cased water services installed, per each price for fire hydrant installed and a open cut road crossing. Work will take place within NT State Rt. 55 (SCH RT 15) work limits and will require a Sullivan County Highway work permit. Base Bid Work for Contract TL2-E-17 Electrical consists of, but is not limited to, the construction and installation of a new deasil fired back up 80 KW generator and automatic transfer switch, new 60 hp VFD and installation, all electrical work required to provide and install to complete the work at the new tank site, Sherwood Pump Station, Stevensville Well Field and control system to include radio’s and plc and other locations called out in the Specifications and Contract Drawings, provide and Install new radio and water control system.
