Capehart Fluvial Geomorphology and Stream Restoration Reach A5

The Project consists primarily of installing environmental improvements to approximately 600 linear feet of Capehart Brook, known from previous studies as Reach A5. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the excavation of specified areas and creation of a stream channel to better support seasonal and year-round aquatic organisms, various plantings in and near the streams, tree plantings to limit vehicle movement and damage to the site; trash removal on the site and in the stream from Finson Road to the project site; surface restoration; bypass pumping, erosion control, and other related tasks. This work is to be completed during the permitted time period of July 15 to October 1, 2021 and in accordance with Maine DEP NRPA PBR.
