Carroll Middle School and Fairview Elementary HVAC Renovations

Bid Security is required to be submitted with the bid proposal form. Make payable to Carroll Community School District in the amount of 5% of the Lump Sum Bid Amount. Bid Security shall be of: cashiers check, certified check, or Bid Bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Iowa. Form of Bid Bond is AIA Document A310. All work shall be substantially completed by August 4, 2023 or as negotiated with Owner/Contractor. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after Receipt of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, to evaluate the bids and to accept the bid which best serves their interest. Scope- The project consists of providing and installing new cooling coils, electric heating coils, an air handling unit, condensing units and associated mechanical piping and accessories and electrical equipment and system support at Carroll Middle School and Fairview Elementary School. 1. Replacement of an existing air handling unit. 2. Installation of new cooling coils, electric heating coils, condensing units and associated components. 3. Installation of new mechanical and electrical system modifications to support new mechanical equipment.
