County Owned Buildings Renovations Modifications and Upgrades

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a pool of qualified General Contractors and Trade Contractors who can execute construction related, interior and exterior upgrades, renovations, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) modification projects valued between $100,000.00 and $3,000,000 on behalf of Prince George County Capital Improvement Program. To accomplish this, The County will establish a Master Agreement with up to four (4) qualified Contractors in each category, as per the requirements set forth in this solicitation. The Contractors who are deemed responsive, will be notified of their rotational order at the time of award which will be based on the lowest cost. The County will award subsequent project assignments on a rotational basis as per the established rotational order. Official Request for Information (RFIs) must be submitted via SPEED as listed in IFB WS453765375 by January 31, 2023 at 4:00 p.m This IFB is restricted to certified County Based Businesses (CBB) ,County Located Businesses (CLB), and County Based Small Businesses (CBSB) with a mandatory Sub-Contractor Participation of 40% County Based Businesses (CBSB) and 20% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), certified with Prince Georges County . Each business used to meet the Supplier Participation Requirement must be certified by the Prince George County Supplier Development & Diversity Division (SDDD). If required, the Contractor shall furnish a performance bond in the amount of 10% of the total Contract amount, made out to Prince George County, Maryland, prepared on an approved form furnished by the County, as security for the faithful performance of this Contract, within ten (10) days of notice of intent to award this Contract. The surety thereon must be authorized and licensed to transact business in the State of Maryland. Attorneys in fact who sign performance bonds must file with each bond a certified copy of their power of attorney to sign such bonds. An irrevocable letter of credit, irrevocable assignment of savings account, CDs, certified check, or money order made payable to Prince Georges County, Maryland may be accepted in lieu of bond cited above. The contract award for each awardee shall not exceed 10,000,000.00 a year and total of 40,000,000.00 for the five (5) year contract duration.
