Description The VA is seeking a turn-key full service provider capable of installing Pharmaceutical Controlled Substance receptacles, removing the waste, and incinerating the waste, in addition to replenishing any needed supplies. Receptacles must be affixed to the building and must be locked. Controlled substances will include pills, liquids and patches which must be rendered non-retrievable upon deposit into the receptacle. Performance must comply with JACHO, DEA, FDA, EPA, NIOSH, NYSDOH, NYSDOT, NYSDEC, and all other applicable regulatory agencies. The Buffalo VAMC has an anticipated need for receptacles at 35 collection points throughout the medical center. The Batavia VAMC estimates a need for receptacles at 5 collection points.
