Description | As of September 9, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project consists of: Construction of a roundabout with roadway improvements, including subsurface drainage with catch basins. Project includes installation of hot mix asphaltic concrete (wearing, binder, leveling, widening courses) and Portland cement concrete pavements, driveways, and miscellaneous pavements. Installation of Portland cement concrete curb and gutter (mountable, barrier and transition). Project includes demolition, earthwork, traffic control, erosion control and associated work such as flowable fill, limestone, misc. sitework, and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Contract Term: 210 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents shall be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above upon payment of a deposit of $150.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within ten (10) days after receipt of Bids (August 22, 2022) will receive a full refund ($150.00). Non-Bidders will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Spangler Engineering, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. |
