Description

The contractor selected for this project will be responsible for furnishing the necessary equipment and labor for the following project related work: 1. Excavating and/or loading the existing recycled asphalt pavement and gravel debris stockpile into a portable rock crushing plant. 2. The crushing plant shall be capable of crushing the existing stockpiled material into 1” or smaller diameter as the final product size. 3. The contractor shall also mix existing rocks/boulders that are located on the north side of the existing stockpile with the RAP and gravel debris in the material being crushed. 4. The contractor shall stockpile the crushed material in the storage yard for reuse by the Highway Department at a later date.
