Description | Per addendum 2 bid date is now 2pm As of September 26, 2023, there are no plans yet. The Work of this project includes, but is not limited to: Site Security, Existing Utility Removal, Site Demolition/Removal, Erosion Control, Storm Water Management, Site Grading, Storm Drainage, Stone Working Surface, Building Pad Development. Coordination and supervision of the entire project; and all related work, as indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Retirement Systems of Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds, insurance in compliance with requirements, and verification of E-Verify enrollment (also with Proposals), will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bid documents may be examined at the office of the Construction Manager, 531 Oliver Road, Montgomery, AL and/or request made to the Construction Manager, Attention Trey Hard, (334) 657-7981 thard@jescoinc.net and Vanessa Meade, (334) 277-2612 vmeade@jescoinc.net for bid package documents. The Contractor and the RSA will be required to apply for Certificates of Exemption with the Alabama Department of Revenue which will handle administration of the Certificates. The Contractor shall account for the tax savings on the Proposal Form. Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders and separate Subcontractors are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. The RSA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in their judgment, the best interests of the RSA will thereby be promoted.
