Airport North Apron Paving - Hangars C and D Rehabilitation - 23004 - Town of Leesburg

Rehabilitate the existing aircraft aprons located around Hangars C&D. These aprons are exhibiting cracking and stresses and the latest Pavement Management Plan, prepared by the Virginia Department of Aviation and published in 2015, forecasted a Pavement Condition Index below the acceptable score. A study including geotechnical testing was completed in 2021 and recommends full rehabilitation of these aprons within the next two to three years. Funding participation is anticipated from the Virginia Department of Aviation (DOAV) for this project. This project is in included in the Town of Leesburg FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of august 09, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
