Description

The work to be performed under this Contract includes furnishing of labor, tools, equipment and materials for Milling and Resurfacing for the Burlington-Bristol Bridge and the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. The work to be performed within this Contract is to repair the roadway surface to restore it to a level which will improve rideability and includes milling of the roadway surface, removal of any unsound or locally deteriorated pavement and placement of approved concrete and bituminous asphalt material as depicted in the Contract Documents. The term "full width of the roadway" means all travel lanes, all turn lanes, inside and outside shoulders, auxiliary (acceleration and deceleration) lanes and all median openings including intersections. The treatment for ramps, intersections, u-turns, driveways, concrete pavement repair, curb, pavement repair, and utilities are as indicated on the Contract Drawings. The work will include striping and roadway signage and the restoration of existing conditions. As necessary, the Contractor shall provide for Maintenance & Protection of Traffic while work is being performed as required by the Engineer. The Contractor is required to coordinate with the Engineer all temporary bridge and lane closures for the approval by the Commission.
