Description The City of Bessemer 3rd Avenue Streetscape Improvements include replacing non-compliant ADA sidewalks with new ADA compliant sidewalks located along 3rd Avenue between 17th and 19th Streets. Project will consist of approximately 1200 linear feet of sidewalk, 5-12 feet in width, including structural concrete sidewalk/footings, hardscape and walls. This project includes minor excavation, storm drainage inlet modifications, roadway paving, utility resets, landscaping, and site lighting.
