2023/2024 Main Street Reconstruction

The City of Chilton, acting through its City Council, hereby gives notice that online Bids will be received in the offices of McMahon Associates, Inc. The work shall consist of total reconstruction of approximately 5,000 feet of roadways (Main Street, Center Street, Mill Street) including an asphalt and concrete pavement alternative. A prior Contract for utility reconstruction will commence in September, work in this Contract may begin fall 2023 or spring 2024 at the CONTRACTORS option. Major quantities include 20,000 S.Y. of roadway excavation, stone base, and asphalt or concrete pavement; 10,000 L.F. of curb & gutter, 20,000 S.F. of concrete sidewalk and apron. The approximate value of the construction contract is $2 M. All Bidders shall Bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the Contract Documents. The Project Documents are on file for inspection at the offices of McMahon Associates, Inc., 1445 McMahon Drive, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956. In order to be a Plan Holder or Bidder, each firm or organization shall either obtain Bidding Documents from the McMahon Associates, Inc. or by obtaining a hard copy as designated in this Advertisement For Bids. Digital Bidding Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable $40.00 On-line bid submission is available for this project for a non-refundable $55.00. Neither the Owner nor McMahon Associates, Inc. shall be held responsible for the scale of downloaded Drawings. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the City of Chilton. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the owner.
