Description

The work consists of installation of two belt filter press dewatering units and two additional sludge feed pumps in the existing Solids Processing building, including construction of concrete equipment supports, modification and extension of existing raised metal platforms, process piping, and associated electrical and control improvements and all related appurtenances. *This project requires submission of an Economic Equity and Inclusion Plan (EEIP). **This project qualifies for Apprentice utilization. Contractor should attach Apprenticeship Incentive Form (AIF) with their bid submission to utilize this provision. ***This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories for 0.5% of the total base bid amount. Please refer to the Q&A Section for more details on this item. ****The PW Department is also requiring verification of a "Class B" or better City of Omaha General Contractor's License at the time of bid Sealed bids are invited and will be received by the City of Omaha All bidders are required to comply with the Omaha Contract Compliance Program. Details of this program are incorporated in the bid documents. As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
