The scope of work includes the construction of a mixed-use development on the former BoatUS site (880 & 890 South Pickett Street and 620 Burnside Place). The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase included a self-storage facility which has been completed.The scope was initially pitched in 2018 with the first phase, however a separate Development Special Use Permit will be required for the second phase and as of August 23, 2022 has not been filed. The second phase will include a multi-family building in the future at the site of the interim parking lot. As of February 1, 2023, no building permits have been filed with the City of Alexandria. The Rezoning was approved. . The architect and general contractor information have not been disclosed. A firm schedule has not been established.*
