This project includes, but is not limited to, 5,100 Linear Feet of two-lane roadway construction with ribbon curbs, 600 linear feet of 36" RCP, 110 linear feet of 24" RCP, 74 LF of 18" RCP, 4,160 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC water pipe, 360 LF of 6-inch C900 PVC water pipe, 1,030 linear feet of 2" Endopoly SODR-9, 1,010 linear feet of 8-inch SDR 26 wastewater pipe, 8,900 square yards of parking lot construction, 1-mile concrete circuit trail (8-feet wide), construction of multipurpose athletic field (grading, sod, irrigation system installation), construction of fish camp, construction of a concessions stand/restroom building, construction of a family pavilion with separate restroom building, miscellaneous striping, revegetation, landscaping, etc. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the main Conference Room in Belton City Hall; 333 Water Street; Belton, Texas; 76513 at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2022. The City Council will officially review the bids at a regularly scheduled meeting and award the contract as soon thereafter as practical. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable without recourse to the City of Belton, Texas in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the contract. The City of Belton reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, as the best interest of the City may require, and to waive any informality in bids received.
