Solar Panel Installations for Maryland State Parks

The Maryland Environmental Service (Service or MES) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) in partnership with Maryland State Parks and the Department of Natural Resources. MES is seeking up to 5 qualified contractors to procure and install solar panels on the roofs of facilities at 5 Maryland State Parks. The State Parks include Assateague State Park, Deep Creek Lake State Park, Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area, Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary and Sandy Point State Park. This is the continuation of a project in conjunction with Maryland Energy Administration that has already identified the buildings best suited for solar installations.
