Demonstration Garden

The Contractor must have experience with projects of similar scope and size as those described herein. The Contractor is to develop and present a work program for the Project. The Village anticipates that the project will include the following general steps to: (1) Design a community-serving garden with ADA-compliance and ability to fit 10-15 people at any given time; (2) Prepare site with sod removal, soil amendments, and materials delivery; (3) Install fencing, raised beds, benches, doorway, pathways, and ADA ramps using untreated smooth sawn cedar; (4) Install vegetable-friendly 4 zone drip irrigation system, tying into existing irrigation and water lines provided by Village; (5) Install certified organic planting materials such as plants, seeds, compost, soil, plant supports, and labels; and (6) Utilize qualified laborers for all of the above tasks
