Replace 34 Shutters - Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve

Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, material, transportation, incidentals, fees, permits, licenses, and insurance necessary to replace 34 shutters at the main house on Kingsley Plantation. Work includes (but is not limited to) removal of existing shutters, fabrication of new shutters, purchasing new historic replica hardware, installing new wooden shutters and hardware, and repairing any damage from the removal and installation of shutters and hardware on the first and second story of the Main House. Shutters will be replaced with historically accurate replicas, constructed out of acetylated wood, and will match their corresponding shutter that is currently in place. Contractor shall be responsible for payment protections, taxes, disconnection of the existing shutters, removal from the plantation, and proper disposal offsite, mobilization, costs of preparatory work and operations, the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, materials and incidentals to the project site, site facilities necessary for the work on the project, any required traffic control, cost associated maintaining a closed and secure entrance to the park outside normal park hours and project management. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All eligible responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the National Park Service, however offerors that do not have an active vendor record at SAM.gov or meet the size requirements prior to the RFP due date and time will be considered either ineligible or non-responsive and will not be considered for award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation.
