Village of Fairport Various Building Improvements Term Construction Contract (TCC No. 4)

Sealed Bids for the Village of Fairport Various Building Improvements Term Contract (TCC #4) will be received, by the Village of Fairport Clerk. The Project consists of Building Improvements at various Village of Fairport buildings and is a term contract. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis and Work Orders will be established during the term of the Contract. The Contract Documents must be obtained through the Village Clerk's Office in order to be considered a Plan Holder of record. Bids will only be accepted from Plan Holders of record. No pre-bid conference will be held. Questions shall be provided in writing to Paul Chatfield, P.E. by email only at paul.chatfield@mrbgroup.com no later than 48 hours prior to the bid opening. A bid security in the amount of $10,000 is required for this Contract either in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Bank Check. BIDDERS ON THIS WORK WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRESIDENT'S EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.s 11,246 AND 11,375 WHICH PROHIBIT DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT REGARDING RACE, CREED, COLOR, SEX, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN. The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer, must meet all appropriate State and Federal standards, and comply with all relevant governmental regulations. The Owner is exempt under Section 1116 of the Tax Law, and, therefore, no sales tax shall be included in the bid. The Village of Fairport reserves the right to: Reject any or all bids and discontinue this bid process without obligation or liability to any potential bidder. Award to other than the lowest priced proposal. Award on the basis of initial offers received, without discussions or requests for best and final offers. Award Contracts with one or more bidder. The award will be formalized with a contract for services between the bidder and the Village of Fairport, using the Village's standard contract form. The contract will further detail the scope of services, responsibilities, and compensation. No bids shall be accepted from, or any contract awarded to any person or corporation who is in arrears to the Owner upon any debt of contract, or is a defaulter as surety or otherwise upon any obligation to the Village of Fairport. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids.
