IT Room HVAC Replacement

Rochester Psychiatric Center, located at 1111 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14520, is seeking a contractor to replace IT room HVAC condensing units & associated air handlers, lines, insulation, electrical disconnects & refrigerant in Bldg 60. A total of four (4) units are being replaced in IT four (4) rooms. The following equipment shall be installed as part of this project: Three (3) Trane/Mitsubishi/Daikin/York ductless single zone cooling condensing units paired with ductless indoor air handling unit. One (1) Trane/Mitsubishi/Daikin/York single zone cooling only condensing unit paired with ductless indoor air handling unit Replacement refrigerant lines and insulation for the four (4) new refrigerant line sets (one set per unit); must be ACR copper with soldered joints. Contractor will be responsible for removal & proper disposal of the old equipment & installation of the new equipment, including rigging, in the following IT rooms: C-001, C-007, C-008 & C-010. Contractor will be responsible for replacing indoor evaporator/air handling units & outdoor condensing units, liquid line sets, insulation & electrical disconnects at each unit. Contractor will be responsible for electrical connections, refrigerant charges, testing & performance operation of the new equipment. Contractor will be responsible for evacuation, recovery & disposal of all old refrigerant in replaced units. New units must use eco-friendly refrigerant & have communication capability to be monitored through the facility’s Schneider electric building management system.
