Aluminum Box Culvert Installation

Scope ofthe project includes removing existing CMP drainage pipes and replacing with a pre-engineered aluminum box culvert (ALBC) manufactured by Contech. The work will generally include labor, equipment, and materials for traffic control, erosion control, surveying, grading, dewatering, hauling, concrete, assembling and installing ALBC structure, backfilling, base, drainage, and asphalt paving. Work and materials shall be in accordance with GDOT Standard Specifications and MUTCD unless otherwise noted in the project plans or manufacturer specifications. The White County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids from qualified contractors for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for constructing and installing an aluminum box culvert. Proposal Guaranty - 5% of bid price, Proof of Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance, Contractor and Sub-Contractor Affidavits and Agreements in accordance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 regarding Federal Work Program EEV, Drug-Free Work Place Affidavit, W9, Bidder's Certification, and any issued Addenda, MUST all be completed and returned as part of the Bid Contract documentation for Bid Opening. Two complete original Bid/Contract documents shall be submitted. Failure to comply may be grounds for dismissal of bid. The Vendor Name and complete Project Name MUST appear legibly on the outside of the envelope. Bids will be accepted until date of closing. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, delete individual items, re-adverse and to waive minor informalities. Bid proposal guaranty will be 5% of total base bid. Performance and payment bonds shall be required each in the full amount of the total base bid.
