Description | D264837, PIN 903829, FA Proj Y240-9038-293, Tioga Co., PAVEMENT RESURFACING: 6 miles along NYS Route 434, Town of Owego, Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $200,000.00) , Goals: DBE: 8.00% This project mills and resurfaces Route 434 from Marshland Road to the Broome County line in the town of Owego, Tioga County. Additional work includes the replacing of traffic signal inductance loops in the milled surfaced, guide railing upgrades and new pavement markings. This project improves conditions for bicyclists and pedestrians with newly resurfaced shoulders and pavement markings. Project Status The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Summer 2022. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2022. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2023. This project is located in the SOUTHERN TIER region and includes the following: Counties TIOGA Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form CONR 391. Electronic bids must include an electronic bid bond.
