Description | The scope of work to be performed consists of, but not limited to, removal and replacement of the existing HVAC plant system and related work. The contract documents call for 40 working days to complete this construction The removal and replacement of the existing HVAC plant system and related work. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the City has determined that Contractor shall possess any and all contractors licenses, in form and class as required by any and all applicable laws with respect to any and all of the work to be performed under this contract including, but not limited to, a Class A License (General Engineering Contractor, Class B (General Building Contractor) or Class C20 License (WarmAir Heating, Ventilating and AirConditioning Contractor) in accordance with the provisions of the Contractors License Law (California Business and Professions Code, Section 7000 et. Seq.). In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code, the Director of the Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done. The Contractor will be required to pay to all persons employed on the project by the Contractor sums not less than the sums set forth in the documents entitled "General Prevailing Wage Determination made by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code, Part 7, Chapter 1, Article 2, Sections 1770, 1773, 1773.1. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form and amount specified in Public Contract Code Sections 20170 and 20171. A Bid Bond, for at least 10% of the Contractors Total Bid Proposal amount, must be included as part of the Contractor's sealed Bid Proposal.A Bid Bond, for at least 10% of the Contractors Total Bid Proposal amount, must be included as part of the Contractor's sealed Bid Proposal.
