| Description | To bid on providing Household Hazardous Waste Containers that will be utilized for the bulking, packaging and transportation of hazardous waste collected at the County's two current Household Hazardous Waste facilities, and a third facility in Sandy, Utah which is currently under construction and should be completed in 2021. The empty containers will be delivered to the two current Household Hazardous Waste Facilities located at 6030 West California Avenue (1400 South), Salt Lake City, UT 84401, and TransJordan HHW Facility at 10473 South Bacchus Highway (U-111), South Jordan, UT 84095, and the upcoming third facility located at 8775 South 700 West, Sandy, UT 84070. Filled containers will be transported to a disposal site by another party. The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facilities collect 1.6 million pounds of residential hazardous waste from the residents of Salt Lake County annually. Containers are required to ship this material safely so that it may be disposed of properly. |
