Description | Contractor shall provide the necessary permitting, facilities, transportation, equipment, and personnel to perform building damage mitigation services to include, but not be limited to: a. Water extraction and building drying; b. Infectious waste, post-mortem waste, and disposal thereof; c. Odor removal and deodorization services; d. Controlled demolition . Contractor shall perform building damage mitigation services as follows: a. The Contractor shall determine the extent, source, and type of water damage present (black, grey, fresh) and moisture levels in affected areas. b. The Contractor shall dry, deodorize, and disinfect areas damaged by water. c. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of any and all damaged material. d. The Contractor shall provide mold removal and remediation within two (2) days of mold identification, unless substantial damage is found and an extended timeline has been agreed upon in advance. e. The Contractor shall move and replace (as appropriate) all contents and furniture in affected area. f. The Contractor shall inspect, sort, decontaminate, clean, pack, store, and inventory contents upon direction from City. g. The Contractor shall remove all water in flooded areas as necessary. h. The Contractor shall provide drying equipment to include ceiling and wall drying units, air movers, and dehumidifiers. i. The Contractor shall pressure wash, clean, and sanitize buildings exterior and interior as direction by the City. j. The Contractor shall provide odor removal as needed, using such tools as antimicrobial treatments and thermal fogging equipment. k. The Contractor shall monitor equipment and process on a daily basis throughout project completion. l. The Contractor shall complete final inspection of all restoration work through scheduled final walkthrough with the City for each project. Question Submission Deadline: April 20, 2023, 5:00pm |
