West Wall Nitrified Recycle Pipe Modifications: Work includes removal of the existing 12-inch diameter stainless steel and PVC pipe and fittings at the riser and drop pipe discharge, installation of new 12-inch diameter stainless steel and PVC pipe and fittings, installation of one 12-inch flanged plug valve with handwheel operator, associated stainless steel angle and bracket pipe supports with stainless steel hardware, and removal and reinstallation of the existing 2-inch sample tap/air release tapped to the new 12-inch stainless steel pipe. South Wall Nitrified Recycle Pipe Modifications: Work includes cutting of the existing 12-inch diameter PVC pipe and installation of a 12” x 12” x 12” PVC tee, installation of a new 12-inch riser/drop pipe discharge assembly consisting of new 12-inch diameter stainless steel and PVC pipe and fittings, one 12-inch flanged plug valve with handwheel operator, associated stainless steel angle and bracket pipe supports with stainless steel hardware, and installation of a new 2-inch sample tap/air release tapped to the new 12-inch stainless steel pipe. Basin #3 has been left unused since the treatment plant was opened. Aeration piping was recently installed in the basin along with the appropriate mixers. Different aeration zones will be turned on per the function of each zone. LFMSDD will drain basin #3 of all non-potable water before construction of the curtain walls and pipes.
