Hickerson Bathroom Renovations - 2023

The work involves replacing toilet and shower partitions at 11 Bathrooms in Hickerson Hall, including the 5 gang bathrooms with showers. There is a Supplemental Bid A for replacement of the shower system including operator and pipe cover. The supply piping from the back wall of each shower to the operator is being replaced as part of the Base Bid. The lights are also being replaced. The walls, ceilings, and various items in those 11 Bathrooms are being painted. Some existing grab bars are being removed, and some new grab bars are being installed In accordance with C.G.S. 46a-68c, the successful qualified low bidder on this project shall submit an Affirmative Action Plan if the value of the project exceeds $50,000.00 or more. The plan must be filed within thirty (30) days after a bid has been accepted by an awarding agency.
