| Description | The City of Durango is considering a lane reconfiguration to improve safety and accessibility along College Drive from East 3rd Avenue to East 8th Avenue and along East 8th Avenue from 2nd Street to College Drive. In order to improve safety and accessibility through traffic calming, this project will reconfigure the traffic lanes on College Drive from 3rd Avenue to 8th Avenue, and on 8th Avenue from College Drive to 2nd Street. The roadway will be reconfigured from 4- lanes to 3-lanes, with an emphasis on designing for all modes equally. As of March 2, 2021, this project is in early planning.
