Description | Christian County invites qualified vendors to submit responses for the Request for Proposal 2023-0015 in accordance with the requirements stated herein for Panic Button Alarm System. In evaluating the proposals, Christian County will use the following evaluation factors to determine the lowest and best proposal. Deviation from the requirements will be evaluated, but may, in the discretion of the Purchasing Agent, result in rejection of a proposal. 70% Total Cost 30% Adherence to the requirements, including responses to questions Christian County is a first-class county without a charter form of government. The governing body of Christian County is the County Commission. The Commission consists of a Presiding Commissioner, a Western Commissioner, and an Eastern Commissioner. Its county seat is in Ozark, Missouri. The County was organized in 1959 and continues to be one of the fastest-growing counties in the state. Cities in Christian County include Billings, Clever, Fremont Hills, Highlandville, Nixa, Ozark, Sparta and Village of Saddle brooke. Questions should be submitted online through the Christian County Electronic Bidding portal before 9:00 a.m. on May 24, 2023. Christian County anticipates this contract as a one year contract from date of award. The County reserves the right to purchase additional equipment as needed. The County reserves the right to add/move/delete panic buttons from specific buildings as needed. The county wishes to purchase a new panic button alarm system. Increase the speed of response after a button is pressed. Increase the ease of testing the system to make sure it is functioning properly. Increase reliability of system. Increase ease of adding, moving, and changing the naming of buttons and their locations in the system. The county prefers that our system work directly with our Sheriff's office radio system. Not through a third party for notifications. The certificate of insurance, including evidence of the required endorsements hereunder or the policies shall be filed with Christian County within ten (10) days after the date of the receipt of Notice of Award of the Contract to the Contractor and prior to the start of work. All insurance policies shall provide thirty (30) days written notice to be given by the insurance company in a question prior to material reduction in coverage or protection of Christian County Commission or cancellation of such insurance.
