Project Location: 4600 River Road, Marrero, LA 70072 Question Deadline 12/12/2022 at 2:00 PM CT All questions and inquiriesshall be submitted in writing to Harvey White (harvey.white@icf.com), Jefferson Parish Schools (JPS) is the largest school district in the State of Louisiana with 84 campuses located throughout Jefferson Parish. Hurricane Ida impacted every campus and almost every building owned by the school system. JPS was able to perform emergency protective measures and temporary repairs immediately after the event and had most of their campuses up and running quickly, minimizing the need for temporary facilities. Facilities that were severely damaged will require additional time to develop repair drawings and bid packages that will be needed to affect permanent repairs. JPSB has procured and assigned architects to 27 of its damaged campuses while the remaining 57 campuses are being analyzed for next steps. Initial construction estimates to repair damaged facilities are approximately $400M. JPSB is committed to having all campuses and buildings completely repaired as quickly as possible, to include hazard mitigation measures, as appropriate, to help reduce impacts from future events.
