| Description | Reforestation Tree Protection Fencing Removal at Multiple Forest Preserves Reforestation Tree Protection Fencing Removal at Multiple Forest Preserves The District regularly plants native trees and shrubs to restore and enhance degraded areas. When trees and shrubs are installed, light-duty fencing materials are installed around these plantings to protect the newly planted material from damage and/or herbivory. After time, plants become well-established and the protective fencing is no longer required. The work of this project includes all labor, equipment and materials necessary to remove the tree protection fencing from the planted material and disposal off-site. |
