ompanies are expected to provide a comprehensive list of equipment, adequate playground surfacing, playground borders, and ADA compliant playground features. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following factors: Qualifications (10 points), Infrastructure and Organization (10 points), Design (10 points), Attractiveness (10 points), Experience (10 points), Warranty (10 points), Quality Assurance (20 points), Timely Completion (10 points), and Cost (10 points). To be evaluated properly, the following criteria must be addressed in detail: Qualifications- Ability of contractor to meet all licensing and insurance standards.Infrastructure and Organization- Infrastructure and organizational chart of contractor. The number of personnel/resources the contractor will provide as a partner on this project.Design- Overall design and layout of playgrounds, number of features, play activities, and the quality/type of play activities. The integration of new playgrounds within the existing park and surrounding area are also considered.Attractiveness Style - The City will evaluate the attractiveness and creativity of designs.Experience- Previously completed jobs of similar scope with references for performance. Warranty- Warranty of playground components and installation.Quality Assurance- Manufacturer specifications and quality assurance- Powder Coating Thickness, Plastic Thickness/UV ratings, Steel Gauge, Deck Support Technology, Weld Connections, Deck Coating, etc.Timely Completion- Projected timeline of construction and project completion.
