Description | The work involved in the project includes the construction and rehabilitation of the water supply, treatment, and distribution system for the Town of Bassfield, all as described in the construction drawings and specifications. A copy of the Contract Drawings and Documents may be examined at the office of Dungan Engineering; P. A.; 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429 during regular business hours. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 and its associated regulations (24 C.F.R., Part 75). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses, Targeted Section 3 Workers and Section 3 Workers. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
