White Sands Missile Range Roof Repairs (Group 3) Buildings 845 and 1864

Synopsis: Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Bliss, TX is issuing a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Firm Fixed Price construction contract. The White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Directorate of Public Works (DPW), has a new requirement to repair the roofs (section/group 3) for Bldgs. 1845 and 1864. This acquisition is 100% set aside for soliciting Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms under NAICS 238160 (Size Standard $16.5 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and bonding necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. Work is to be performed at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. As of today the Wage Rate Requirement: General Decision Number: NM20210045 03/12/2021; State: New Mexico; Construction Type: Building; County: New Mexico, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000 whichever is less. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. An organized site visit will be announced (if requested) at a later date for this procurement. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. The date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 17 August 2022, bid due date will be on or about 17 September 2022 and completing contract performance 220 days after notice to proceed. A site visit is possible, by request during the solicitation.
