| Description | Repair of elevator at south street school Questions requiring clarification and all other inquiries shall be submitted in writing to the Chief Procurement Officer only, prior to the deadline stated in the General Requirements and Specifications, in order to afford the City of Fitchburg adequate time to respond prior to the deadline forsubmission of bids. Should it be found necessary, a written addendum will be incorporated into the bid and will become part of the contract If, at the time of the originally scheduled bid opening, City Hall is closed due to inclement weather or any other unforeseeable event, the bid opening will be extended until 2:00 PM on the next normal business day, unless otherwise indicated by an addendum issued by the Chief Procurement Officer.
