South Garden Street Streetscape Carmack Boulevard to Depot Street

**As of November 16,2022, project was awarded to Adams Contracting, LLC, awarded amount is $2,132,231.75.** The Work to be done consists of the providing labor, materials, equipment, insurance and bonds for new sidewalk, ADA compliant curb ramps, parking areas, curb and gutter, storm drainage, paving, pavement markings, and signing on S. Garden Street from Carmack Blvd. to Depot St. The project also includes installation of lighting, landscaping and hardscape plazas along the corridor. Work also includes construction of a left turn lane on Carmack Blvd. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashiers check or BID Guarantee bond in the amount not less than five percent of the BID made payable to the City of Columbia, Owner, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions for Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price. All bids submitted must conform to the requirements of the Tennessee Code Annotated 62-6-119. The project herein described is to be completed within 365 calendar days from the date of award of contract. Liquidated damages for delay of completion of contract will be in accordance with the Agreement (Contract). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual bid date of the opening thereof. All Bidders must be TDOT Prequalified and licensed Contractors to perform the type of construction herein described as required by Tennessee Code Annotated. Bids must be submitted at the time and place indicated in the Invitation to Bidders and shall be included in a sealed envelope marked 1.Project title, 2.Bidders name and address, 3.Bidders Tennessee Contractors License Number and Expiration Date, 4.Bidders License Classification, 5.Contract for which bid is enclosed. 6.
