Description | Estimated Cost $3,900,000 to $4,200,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project Duration: 120 Work Days Liquidated Damages: $1,100.00 Per Work Day Bid Bond Percentage: 10% The City is constructing the Wilson III Basin Project (Project) in phases due to upcoming deadlines to expend grant funding and satisfy environmental requirements and commitments for the overall project. The contract work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, necessary tools, and equipment, supervision, appurtenances, and all utility and transportation services required for the construction of the Wilson III Basin Phase 1C as a part of the larger Wilson III Basin Project. The Phase 1C work includes construction of the Wilson Creek impact basin near Oak Glen Road, construction of the Oak Glen Channel Inlet (trapezoidal channel), the double 12 X 10 RCB, and the Oak Glen Creek impact basin. Phase 1C also includes construction of a trapezoidal RipRap Channels, and installation of a storm drain line in accordance with the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, and other provisions of the Contract. All earthwork performed during Phase 1C that is required to construct the Phase 1C bid items (including excavation, over-ex and recompaction, backfill, grading, etc.) is considered incidental to the item requiring the additional earthwork in Phase 1C, and no additional payment shall be made for this work. The completed Phase 1A improvements included earthwork excavation, mass grading, transport of the basin material to fill areas within the site, temporary stockpiling of material and oversize rock and construction of interim spillway features to provide capacity for the conveyance of storm flows for flood protection. The completed Phase 1B improvements included installation of a storm drain line, brow ditch and PVC line connections, installation of perimeter fencing and gates, a commercial driveway, and channel riprap protection. |
