Hydraulic and Hydrological Evaluation of City Storm Sewers, Combined and Sanitary

AREA-1 is bounded by Rail Road Track, Southfield Freeway, Michigan Avenue, Mercury Drive, Paul Avenue, Greenfield Road, Tireman Avenue, East City limit (south of Haggerty), Miller Road, Prospect Avenue. This drainage area is serviced by 125 miles of combined sewer, 9 miles of sanitary sewers, 42 miles of storm sewers, 2,453 combined manholes, 343 storm manholes and 169 sanitary manholes. There is also additional 14 miles of recently separated storm sewers the construction plans of which will be provided to the selected firm. AREA-2 is bounded by Dartmouth Avenue, Madison Avenue, Monroe Avenue, Donaldson Avenue, Rotunda Drive, Oakwood Blvd, Linden Avenue (to north), and Southfield Service Drive (to east). This area is serviced by 45 miles of combined sewers, 11 miles of storm sewers, 928 miles of combined manholes and 63 storm manholes. AREA-3 is bounded by Telegraph Road, Ford Road, Golfview Drive, Military Avenue, Morley Avenue, Brady Street, Oakwood Blvd, Elmdale Street, Donaldson Street, Monroe Avenue, Madison Street and Dartmouth Avenue. This are is serviced by 113 miles of combined sewers, 43 miles of storm sewers, 25 miles of sanitary sewers, 2,460 combined manholes, 531 storm manholes and 494 sanitary manholes. There is also additional 20 miles of recently separated storm sewers the construction plans of which will be provided to the selected firm. AREA-4 is bounded Miller Road, Michigan Avenue, Amazon Street and Riverside Drive. This area is serviced by 5 miles of combined sewer, 13 miles of sanitary sewers, 21 miles of storm sewers, 98 combined manholes, 328 storm manholes and 257 miles of sanitary manholes. AREA-5 is bounded by Interstate I-94, Rouge River, Railroad Track (to north) and Commerce Drive. This area is serviced by 6 miles of combined sewer, 5 miles of sanitary sewers, 12 miles of storm sewers, 130 combined manholes, 209 storm manholes and 142 sanitary manholes. AREA-6 is bounded by Ford Road, Southfield Freeway, Paull Avenue, Mercury Drive, Michigan Avenue, Monroe Avenue, Morley Avenue, Military Avenue, and Golfview Drive. This area is serviced by 9 miles of combined sewer, 23 miles of sanitary sewers, 51 miles of storm sewers, 138 miles of combined manholes, 508 sanitary manholes and 734 storm manholes.
