Description | PROJECT SCOPES OF WORK General Construction: Interior office renovation of approximately 6,075 square feet and 1,475 square feet addition. Demolition of existing items noted on drawings including existing exterior walls, roof system, flooring, base, ceiling, windows, and any other demolition items indicated on the plans. New metal siding and thin brick system on existing exterior, as well as some existing brick staining. Complete re-roof of existing as indicated. New exterior concrete masonry walls with face brick veneer and roof structure consisting of standing seam metal roof and membrane roof system. New hollow metal door frames with wood doors, and aluminum framed storefronts, complete with door hardware, and glazing. New Metal stud and drywall wall construction with acoustical ceilings with drywall bulkhead as indicated on ceiling plan. Flooring to include tile carpeting, ceramic tile, vinyl sheet, and vinyl tile. New fixed casework, dias table, and lectern. Painting and new custom wall coverings as indicated on drawings and new interior and exterior signage as shown on the drawings. New marker/tack boards, appliances, and equipment as shown on the drawings. Site Work: Site work includes pavement removal, and miscellaneous site item removals. Installation of concrete, asphalt, aggregate, curbing and concrete steps/handrails. Minor re-grading, seeding, plantings, and landscape work. Storm utility work. New fencing. Installation of owener furnished building sign and bench. Fire Protection Work: Includes modifying the existing sprinkler system and heads to accomodate the new floor plan. Work includes providing sprinkler system for building addition. Refer to plans for additional information. Plumbing Work: Includes selective demolition of plumbing fixtures and associated piping. Installation of new fixtures including water closets, urinal, lavatories, floor drains and drinking water coolors and associated piping. Refer to plans for additional information. HVAC Work: Includes demolition and replacement of existing HVAC system including, but not limited to, the removal and installation of boilers, pumps, air handling unit, VAV boxes, exhaust fans and building automation system (BAS). Work includes new HVAC system and controls for building addition. Refer to plans for additional information. Electrical Work: Existing electric service will be modified to accommodate new natural gas generator, automatic transfer switches, and panelboards. Existing liquid propane generator to be demolished. New LED exterior and interior lighting, receptacles, HVAC equipment connections required. Refer to plans for additional information. Technology Work: Provide cat 6 cabling to work area outlets, wireless access points, security/access control devices, video outlets, and CCTV cameras as required. Provide technology racks/cabinets and appurtenances as required for the data network cabling and equipment. Provide cat 6 cabling to work area outlets, wireless access points, security/access control devices, video outlets, and CCTV cameras as required. Provide data network equipment, wireless access points, phones and, synchronized wireless clocks as required. Provide flat panel displays and mounts as required. Provide audio/video system in the Boardroom and conference rooms. Provide access control system and devices as required. Provide CCTV cameras,mounts, NVR for storage of video, and viewing monitors as required Proposals received after September 27, 2023 at 1:00.00 PM will be returned unopened. Wayne, IN | Indianapolis, IN A Lump Sum bid for the project will be received. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate on a blank form furnished by the Architect, in a sealed envelope. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope, the project you are bidding on. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. |
