| Description | This project proposes improvements to the intersection of Rural Road and University Drive within the City of Tempe (COT) to increase safety, traffic capacity and level of service. Capacity improvements are necessary to accommodate traffic volumes generated from existing and anticipated development in the area. The proposed improvements may include coordination with Arizona State University (ASU) and Catellus regarding improvements being made to the northwest corner and southwest corners of Rural Road and University Drive. Also including coordination with several other stakeholders and adjacent business owners that will be impacted by construction and those owners from which the City has acquired property for widening. |
