| Description | Construct new sanitary sewers and modify or abandon existing manholes and sewers along S. Ohio St. from E. Vaile Ave. to E. Carter St. The purpose of the project is to divert existing sanitary flow into an existing interceptor to reduce overflows at CSO1 and to allow for the abandonment of an existing inverted sewer (siphon) under Wildcat Creek. The project includes t continued next column the installation of 275 feet of new 8" PVC sanitary sewer, 16 feet of new 18" PVC sanitary sewer, 60 feet of new 6" PVC sanitary lateral, four 48" diameter manholes, sewer abandonment, and other miscellaneous construction and restoration. |
